  We ate at the Angel for a birthday meal and were very impressed with the food and the level of service received. Polite and friendly staff and a brilliant, private room just for us making it easy with our two young children. Marvellous.

  this hotel is 5+++++ in all aspects food/beers/staff/bedrooms, under megan the manager her team work hard for the customer to enjoy the surroundings. dont believe negative feedback on other sites this hotel is first rate. i should know as i travel most of europe. ps if any staff member read this please show to megan or suzanne the general manager. p. n.letts. deputy ceo of large worldwide travel company

  Good English breakfast, super dining room, relaxed atmosphere, bang in middle of town. Afternoon teas equally good quality. Recommended! PS, dogs welcome:)

  Excellent home cooked food with all the meat reared on their very own farm. Plenty of space to sit both inside and out.
